Implementation Plan of Code of Ethics and Core Competencies

Step 1: Have the leadership of an agency review the Orientation Video and form an implementation committee.

Step 2: Have middle managers review the Orientation Video.

Step 3: Have FLSs and DSPs watch the Orientation Video with the facilitator using the manual.

Step 4: Have FLSs be trained on the new Workforce Transformation Video, which includes the still to be edited supervisor section and also the evaluation tools.

Step 5: Have DSPs be trained on the new Workforce Transformation Video.

Step 6: Have the FLSs use the Code of Ethics, the Core Competencies, and the 5 Workforce Transformation Strategies in case conferences, staff meetings etc.

Step 7: Have FLSs observe and provide feedback to DSPs as they utilize the Code of Ethics, the Core Competencies and the 5 Workforce Transformation Strategies in their ongoing work with individuals.

Step 8: Implement the Core Competencies Evaluation Tools with the DSPs
